New Addition

Today we got a new addition to our family. This loving awesome looking Tarantula. Thanks to our good friends Shane and Marianne, I have to look at this creature every night as I am trying to go to bed. Yes, it is in our room on our dresser, I am too nervous to have it out in any other room with all the children roaming around here during the day. The girls are totally amazed by it and have watched it all night just waiting to see if it will eat one of the crickets in her cage. Yes, it is a she and she is a Chilean Rose tail, or bud - whatever. Matt is really proud of her because he is from Chile. Once again, Thanks Shane.

I would rather have a root canal than have this spider in my house, you are brave!

Tony is going to be so jealous. He has caught a couple of tarantulas up by the U...but I have made him put them back in the wild. If you need someone to take care of it, I know Tony would love to! And spiders really don't bother me either so no worries.

I have been having nightmares about this and I'm serious I do not know if I can come over there and babysit with that creature in the house. This goes right along with my nightmares about the girls having pet mice with Polly Pocket type pretty fur outfits with them and all of us laying on my bed with the darn mice with a polly pocket outfit on running all over my bed and the girls just thinking it was fabulous. I am totally freaked out and distubed by this. It seems odd that you can handle this when you scream if there is a spider loose in the house and you are afraid to deal with them. Whats up with that goofball?

You are so brave! I could never do this and I did enjoy hearing about Sue's dream about the Polly Pocket mice!
