Pool Days

The weather has been so nice here that we have been able to swim through the whole month of September. The girls have loved going, I don't know what I am going to do with them when the pool is closed.

The girls horsing around in the pool.

Sweet Action! Emily has been so brave at jumping into the pool. She completely goes under the water and is not even phased a bit, she just pops right back up and goes again.

Bathing Beauties!

Ali is so funny, she gets out of the pool and comes and lays on her beach towel on the chair just like the Nans. She is also proudly displaying a cinderella tatoo that she has above her belly button. She was really upset that at the end of the day it had washed off in the pool.

Emily always has to wear these particular goggles in the pool. They are so big for her that they look hillarious.

Emily Jane!

Here are just some more pictures of Emily's late night fun. She is such a helper to me after Ali is in bed. She comes down and helps me with the dishes, and just makes me laugh.

Cheesin' it up for the camera.

I love this picture of Emily, it shows her dimples so good.

Lately

Emily is absolutely obsessed with having her picture taken these days. She will walk around doing things and tell me to take her picture. The other night after Ali had gone to bed she kept wanting to taker her picture with this sweet animal that Shelby got her at Lagoon. It has been very interesting at night after Ali goes to bed. Emily thinks that it is special time and is really very sweet and does hillarious things with Ali not around. She talks a ton and says things that I have never heard her say before. Who know what she will do each night, getting her to go to bed has been a challenge though. She just wants to stay up and party with me.

This is Ali on Purple day. She is really loving school and has made lots of new friends. She is also pulling some new personalities out of her sleeve, I am guessing from meeting new kids at school and being around so many different people each day.

Lost Photos

So, I had my mom's camera today, and here is what I found.
This next picture is from back in July when Danielle and Ellie were here. We ran in to them at Target and they all wanted to be in the same cart.

Ali and my mom at Lagoon A Beach. This was just from last Monday. It was so nice because it was the last day of the season and no one was there. When we went on the lazy river we practically had it to our selves, and no one was in kiddie land. It was awesome.

These pictures are from we went swimming with Dani and Ellie and Lisa, Owen, Brooklyn and Ava. My mom had them all pose on the rock wall for a most unwanted picture.

Some Tube Action

Trase came boating with us when we went last. Matt loved having a guy to hang out with instead of being stuck on the boat all day with 4 girls.
Trase slolomed for his first time ever, and he did awesome. He looked like a pro out there.
Matt and Trase had a great time on the tube. Matt had his first wild tube ride in years.

Days of the Week

"There's Sunday and there's Monday, there's Tuesday and there's Wednesday, there's Thursday and there's Friday, and then there's Saturday. Days of the week clap-clap, days of the week clap-clap." This is a song that we hear Ali singing all the time, she learned it in preschool and I think that it was one of her favorite besides the peanut butter song.
She has succesfully completed her first week of Kindergarten, they were asked to wear a different color every day of the week and did neat science experiments with the colors and mixing colors to make specific colors. She has also made a new friend Isabella, who she wants to bring home with her every day. She has done excellent with going to bed and waking up, maybe we could just have some improvement in the attitude department.
Monday was Red day.

Tuesday was Yellow day.
Wednesday was Blue day.

Thursday - Green day.

We had to squeeze one in of Emily on Thursday as well.

Finally, it's Friday - Brown day. I told Ali that maybe now she can appreciate when Friday comes just as much as the rest of us. Now that it is the weekend she keeps asking me if she has school tomarrow. When I told her no, she said "Oh great, we have to do something fun then."
We will see what the weather lets us do.

Red Day

Monday was Ali's day back to Kindergarten. It was also "Red Day." She was so excited to wear her watermelon outfit. After school she told me that she thought it was so funny because the teacher told her she looked delicious and that she would like to eat her shirt.

They got these sweet red visors also. She has been modeling all day.

Her friend Lilly has taught her that in pictures it is cool to flash the peace sign, or another hand gesture while getting pictures taken.

Ali also has dance on Mondays from 5-7 and Wednesdays from 5-8. This should be interesting since I am having a hard time getting her to wake up before 8:00. I think I might have to go and get her a loud alarm that goes off tho scare her out of bed.

Tube Time!

We went boating last Saturday with Trase, it was so fun to have him. Matt loved having a boy to talk to instead of being surrounded by girls.

While Matt was pulling Trase on the tube he was pulling around to get Trase after he had fallen and hit some pretty big waves. Needless to say a tidal wave came in over the front of the boat onto my mother and Emily and Ali who were asleep. My mom thinks that she sprained her thumb trying to get Emily and Ali from being swept away in the water. It was hillarious. We are still laughing about it because Matt feels so bad because he ruined my mothers magazines that she had in her pool bag.
Brave Ali ready to go on the tube. All by herself might I add. She would not go on it with Matt or I, she only wanted to do it by herself.

She rides the whole time with her hands up in the air.
