We went boating last Saturday with Trase, it was so fun to have him. Matt loved having a boy to talk to instead of being surrounded by girls.
While Matt was pulling Trase on the tube he was pulling around to get Trase after he had fallen and hit some pretty big waves. Needless to say a tidal wave came in over the front of the boat onto my mother and Emily and Ali who were asleep. My mom thinks that she sprained her thumb trying to get Emily and Ali from being swept away in the water. It was hillarious. We are still laughing about it because Matt feels so bad because he ruined my mothers magazines that she had in her pool bag.

Oh Shannon, I cannot stop smiling about the sprained thumb and the magazines in the pool bag getting wet (not that it is funny she is injured- just picturing it all). I am glad that she could save the girls. It sounds like a fun time on the lake. Brave Ali in the tube.
Ali is brave! I'm so sorry about your mom's magazines - if they were People magazines I would also be upset! How is her thumb?
