Easter weekend started out with an Easter Egg Hunt. I have never wanted to get up really early to go and look for candy in the grass. Poor Ali has never done one, and was feeling a little left out this year. One of the neighbor boys came over on Friday and invited her to an Easter egg hunt in the neighborhood on Saturday morning and 9:00, which is entirely too early for me so we took them to Dicks at 10:00 instead. I think that she was tickeled pink with the whole eggsperience. She could not believe that all that candy was just laying in the grass. When we got there she asked me if it would be okay to eat, or if it was going to be dirty or have bugs in it.

Emily and Dad ready for the big Easter Egg Hunt at Dick's Market. The girls had to go to different sections of the grass which was kind of a bummer, but I really don't think they cared one bit.

Ali and her friend Olivia, they are in dance together and we just happened to see them there. After the hunt was over they went and sat by this tree and ate candy.

Little Miss Sunshine!

Easter was a wonderful day, the weather was perfect and it was just a nice mellow day. We went over to Nan's for dinner and hung out for the afternoon. The girls loved seeing their stuff from Nans and playing with their new dress up clothes.

The girls got some dress up stuff from Nans. Emily loves her Choo's and Ali is obsessed with these glasses. Could they be any sillier?

Trying to get the girls to pose for a picture together today was impossible. Emily was in no mood to cooperate, and Ali was hamming it up for the camera. If only they could be into it on the same day.

Super Cheese-Head Ali!

Ali has been really funny about our yard the last week. We finally got the cement poured, and we also did a little play are with rubber mulch under the swingset. She tells all of her friends that they need to come over and play in her new back yard.

Swinging like a monkey!

The girls playing.

My silly baby in a bucket. This was the closest to a smile I could get out of her all day, she was such a stone cold stinker today.

Yeah! The Bunny brought us new bikes.

Precious pictures. I love the new bike and your yard is really neat. We are excited to see it soon. I love that Dick's had an egg hunt.
The bikes are sweet!
