The girls have been loving the wading pool that Emiy got for her Birthday. They dream up some pretty crazy things to do in it.
They love to lay on their rafts and float in the nice cool water. Luckily it has been so hot, they don't even notice the ice water temperatures.
A couple of weeks ago we went to a friends birthday party. While there they got to slide down a big swing set slide with water running down it that dropped you onto a slip and slide that continued down their hill. They thought that it was so fun and made their own version of it at home, minus the big slide and the slip and slide. Needless to say, it is as fun as they could imagine. They sail down the slide, I am waiting for the day that they go flying out of the pool.
The looks that Ali gets on her face cracks me up. She seems to think that the slide is much bigger than it really is.
Hopefully this can continue entertaining the kids throughout the rest of the summer.
