Six and "Sassy!"

Happy 6th Birthday Alison Grace!

With the age of six has come a lot of sass and spunk. Ali is always surprising us with the things that she says. She is coming up with some real good ones this year so far. We started her birthday week off with a party with Nana, Granny, Grandpa, Barb, Shelby and Grandpa Bob. We opened presents and had cake and ice cream. Ali got some fabulous make-up that she loves.

As you can see she came up with some creative ways to apply the make-up. Em got in on the action as well. She even used the silver packaging as a mirror.

Silly Granny brought the girls this lovely shirt for the girls to play dress up in. My mother gave her this shirt when she retired and apparently she felt bad throwing it away, so I am the lucky one to have it now.

Ali got some new school gear. A new backpack, lunchbox, pencil pouch and and I Carly thermos.

Monday was a fun filled day. We started it out by going to the lake and playing on the boat. Then we went home showered, ate and went to Boondocks.

Ali got to drive the mini go-karts all by herself. She was not quite sure about it, I think that she thought they were a little too fast. She did fabulous though. Then the kids rode the bumper boats with Matt and they got drenched. We even all rode the big go-karts. Next time Nana is going to have to join in the fun and participate instead of just spectating.

Ali on the saddle at her favorite place to eat ever, The Texas Roadhouse.

Crazy Ali on the boat.

Ali loves to ride the tube by herself this year. It makes me really sad, that used to be my favorite thing to do is bob around in the tube with her, and then she would fall asleep. She still does fall asleep, so it is really nice. Both girls, like clock work fell asleep in the afternoon and then we get in some great relaxing time.

Emily is getting really brave as well. She is liking to go on the tube, and go faster and faster as the days go by.

Tube action!

Ali all ready for her friend party. She was so anxious and could not wait for people to get to the party. She was so glad when it finally all got rolling.

Emily was just as excited. I think that she thought that it was her party.

We did the slip and slide, played in the back yard in the pool and tramp, had a water balloon fight, and just plain had fun.

Ali and all of her boys in the tramp. She had a blast with them and was so glad that Cameron and Casey could come.

After the party we all went to the pool and had a grand time.

We had a total white trash pinata party in the garage.
