Last Saturday we went to the zoo. We have been so lucky that the weather is still so nice, we are going to have a rude awakening when winter finally does come.
The girls were so excited to see the cute baby elephant Zuri.
It was so funny to watch her, it was almost like she could not get up. She would scoot around in a circle like this for awhile, and then try and get up with her front legs. We even got to see her play with her ball. It will be fun to watch and see how fast she grows by the time we go again.
These cute cougars were just nestled up next to each other. They looked so cute, but yet so scary.

I think that this is my favorite time of year to go to the zoo. It is not so hot, and the animals are actually up playing and doing things besides just sleeping.
This was our favorite animal of the day. It is some sort of fox, but it would follow the girls through the glass, and then get up really close to the window and just stare at them.

Ready to ride the train. When we first got on, the girls thought that they wanted to ride in the seat together, but before the train got going we had to change seats.
Our wild animals had a great time at the park at the zoo. They went up and down the snake slide a gazillion times, and Ali perfected her skills at the swinging monkey bars.

I love the zoo, we must go there next time we are there! The baby elephant is precious! I am glad you are having nice weather, we are too, it is freakish, but really nice! I am glad everyone is feeling better!
