Piggy Tails and Valentines Parties!

Today I tried piggy tails in Emily's hair. She loved it and Ali thought that they were hillarious as well. Emily kept walking around twirling them in her hand. I think that she felt very fancy.

Ali had her Valentines party at Preschool and Dance. She was so upset when she got home from preschool, she came running in to me and said "Mom, I hardly got any candy." She was so distresseed that she only got six pieces of candy. Luckily she made up for the lack of candy at dance, she made out like a bandit.

The Last Couple of Weeks

Last week was Matt's brother John's homecoming. Ali was so excited that we got to go to Peggy's church. When we walked through the gym, she kept saying how much fun Thanksgiving was there and that she could ride her bike.

Ali giving Tink some lovin'

Ali is really into posing for the camera these days. It is funny, it seems like her and Abby would really have fun getting their photos taken together these days.

Last weekend The Nans and us girls went up to Park City. We left thinking that it was going to be a beautifull sunny day because it was at our house. When we got halfway up the canyon it turned into a total blizzard. So we took turns going into stores so we did not have to drag the girls out in the snow. They really had a great time in the car singing and dancing to the music.

Ali and Emily love to play dress up now. Emily's favorite is dress up shoes, she walks around in them all day. If they fall off of her she lays on the floor with her feet straight up in the air and says shoes in the whiniest voice until someone puts them back on her.

Em's mini dress. This is really a skirt, but it is way too big for her waist. She wears it as a dress.

Priceless!

Yes, this is Emily sitting in her old baby seat, chatting on the phone with Nans and wearing some of Ali's undies. You may be wondering why on earth I have this seat out again, but I got it out for a little girl that I watch, and Emily is so amused by the whole thing. Ocasionaly throughout the day she will just go and sit in it, sometimes I even wonder if she is going to fall asleep. She is also really into underwear. She strips down to nothing and walks up to me and hands me her diaper. Ali got the great idea to put some undies on her so her bum was not naked. Ever since then, the child is obsessed. I even have to put them on over her diapers. So this is were we get the crazy naked girl in the leopard undies. The fact that she was on the phone just makes it that much funnier.

My Little Cupcakes!

This weekend Ali and I had a fun time making some valentine cupcakes while my mother shaved Sams hair. Ali was so proud of them, Emily did not quite know what to think of them. I thought she would devour them, but she just licked the frosting off, and would not eat the cake part.

Shabu Day!

Emily and Ali love to sing this shabu-day song that is on the wonderpets. I had no idea that Emily really caught on to what it was, but tonight Ali and I were singing it and Emily joined in right along with us.

Random Weekend Photos

Last night Ali and Emily were eating dinner while I was doing dishes. I thought that Emily was wide awake eating, until Ali looked at me and said "Mom, what is Em doing?" It was so funny, she was logged out at 6:30, and she did not budge. Luckily when she heard the bathwater in the tub she was wide awake, and we were able to wash the mashed potatoes out of her crevices.

Later that night she fell asleep, once again eating.

The girls on the way down from Park City ready to go to the Auto Show.

Crazy girls at the car show. Emily had a blast running around and especially loved playing in the minivans. I am really sad that I was not able to talk Matt into getting a van instead of an SUV.

Licorice Faced Emily

Last weekend, we all went to see Bolt at the theater. The thing that worked best in keeping Emily entertained was to give her licorice. This is what her face looked like when we got out to the car.

Ali loved Bolt. I was a little skeptical the way that it began, but she loved it, and can't stop talking about it. Every day she asks when it is going to be on video.

Ali Hula-Hooping

Ali loves to Hula-Hoop to the Mama Mia! music. Here is the video of her doing it for my mother.

Funny Video From The Last Couple of Weeks

My girls are completely obsessed with Mama Mia! They love the movie and the soundtrack. It is pretty much what we do all day, every day. Ali loves to Hula-Hoop to the songs, and Emily usually just runs around in a circle around the Hula-Hoop. It is hysterical because Emily is even starting to sing the words to the songs as well. Mama Mia, My - My are her favorite words, she also really loves Money Money, and Honey Honey. Ali loves them all. The three old ladies in the movie are her favorites, especially the lady with the short hair and glasses, is what Ali says.

Watch Emily as she is running around, she is saying the words.

This video kind of gets Em singing Mama Mia! until Ali takes her drumstick away.

Kangaroo Zoo with Owen and Brooklyn

Here are some cute pictures of our trip to The Kangaroo Zoo with the Owen, Brooklyn, Ava, Lisa, Granny and the Nans.

It is so nice because Emily can pretty much do everything there by herself.

A Crazy Cold Night at the Gateway!

Last Friday we took the girls on what we thought was going to be a fun little outing, little did we know that Ali just does not care all that much about seeing the lights. Matt and I thought that it would be fun to go to the Gateway, do a couple returns, get dinner and then go to the Temple to look at the lights since we had not done it yet this year. After dinner Ali said " I just really don't care about seeing the lights, I just want to go home were it is warm." So that is what we did. Maybe we will try it again next year, or the year after.

The nice warm fire pit.

Emily loved watching the water fountains.

Ready for the Cold!

The other day we were all ready to leave and the girls were really cute with each other. Emily went over and tackled Ali into the corner, and started giving her huge kisses and hugs.

Our little Cheesy Bunny Emily!

Lunch at Iggy's with Emily's New Best Buddy!

We went to Iggy's last week with Jake, Jaime and Matt. Emily really took to Matt, it was so funny because she kept leaning over and kissing him over, and over.

After all the kissing she was really tuckered out and fell asleep on Matt's lap.
