Ali's First Baseball Practice

Ali had her first baseball practice 2 weeks ago, yes, it is pathetic that I am that far behind in sharing photos and news. Anyway, she did excellent, she even seemed to love the fact that she was the only girl on the team. She would walk around talking to this boy named Colton with the biggest grin on her face. After the game she said to me "mom, why do I get along with boys much better than I don girls?" I guess we are a lot alike. I can not believe that the girl drama is already starting in Kindergarten.

So far she has had two practices, and their first game is May 4th. Last week at practice it was her turn to bat and after she hit the ball she just stood on home plate and everyone started yelling at her to run. The poor girl had no idea what to do after she hit the ball. I guess Matt and I better start teaching her the rules of the game, because at practice they just think that the kids already know how to play. Lets just say that the games will be rather interesting.
