Chinese New Year

Ali's dance group danced at a Chinese New Year celebration at the U tonight. Let me just say that it was a rather entertaining evening.

Getting excited to dance.

Emily was such a good sport while we had to wait for an hour before Ali actually had to dance. We were so happy to have Nans with us. Emily enjoyed sitting on her lap and cuddling in between making her take her to the bathroom every five minutes.

Ali and her friend Angelita that also goes to her same school. Ali is in Kindergarten, Angelita is in second grade.

This is Ali all ready to go.

She thought that her dress looked like Cinderella's so I had to take her picture of her coming down the stairs losing a glass slipper.
Ta-Da! Putting on the dress for the first time.

They all did a great job on their dance. It is still pretty knew to them, they have only been working on it for about a month now. Ali is the one in the back left corner as you are looking in your screen.

Way to Go Ali! You did a great job on your brand new dance! You look beautiful in your new dance costume - I bet that is so fun to dance in. It was so much fun to spend the day with you guys and loved all the cuddling and sugar from Ali and Emily!
