Fun times with Ellie and Ryan

We loved having Danielle, Ellie and Ryan here visiting a couple of weeks ago. Danielle brought her kids over to play at our house a lot while they were here. The girls loved seeing and being able to play with her.

Sophia and Ryan were a hoot. They would lay on the floor next to each other and roll around and coo for one another.

One day while Ellie was over playing she got really sad that she missed her cousins Abby and Kate. So we called them up. This picture is of her talking to Kelly on the phone.

Ali loved playing beauty shop with Ellie. She had her hair in about 10 different little piggy tails. She was a good sport to sit still for so long.

I love this picture of Sophia and Ryan holding hands. They are both just too cute.
Ryan even got to try out the Bumbo seat. I think that he enjoyed it.

We had so much fun playing, we can't wait for the next time!

Vegas

On our way home from California we stopped in Vegas to energize and break up the drive home. When we got there the weather was so nice we decided to go out to the pool.

The girls, and Matt had a great time swimming and going on the water slide. Nans and I read magazines on the lounge chairs so that we did not have to go in and get all ready again. While we were sitting there we were entertained by this:

Ali came up with all sorts of different ways to go down the slide, and of course Emily was right behind her doing the same thing. Can you spot the person that does not belong in our family?

The whole gang headed back up to the slide.

Of course we had to hit the Grand Luxe for our favorite dinner and desert. The girls had fun entertaining themselves with the camera while they patiently waited for their food.

And the grand finale to top off our trip. The Strawberry Shortcake.

Our Last Day in Disneyland

We had a blast our last day in Disneyland. We started out the day by going to Ihop. While there we got to see the strangest thing. There was a family that had brought in their little Chihahua dog and it was just sitting on the floor by their booth. When the family's food came they made the dog up a nice plate of pancakes and sausage to eat while they were eating. We were all dying, and quite frankly it was disgusting that there was a dog in the restaraunt eating human food on the floor. It was quite a sight.

This picture of my mother and I cracks me up.

After all week we finally got to see Lighting and Mater. Emily thought that it was pretty cool to see them in person. Ali was not so impressed since she has seen them before.

Messing around in line for one of the Bugs Land rides.

Emily and Nana on Heimlichs Chew Chew train. The girls loved this ride. The watermelon smell was their favorite, and it was an added bonus if you got sprayed in the eye.

The Pixar Play parade was really fun. They loved seeing Crush. Turtle talk with Crush was one of their most favorite things to do. Ali got to ask Crush two questions while we were there. He called her Aloha Ali, and Amazing Ali.

We of course had to squeeze in one last tea cup ride. Ali was really bummed after not being able to make it on Big Thunder Mountain because a racoon was running around in the ride. The tea cups sure cheered her up though. Love the facial expressions.

This wraps up our five fun filled days in Disneyland. We left Anaheim on Sunday morning and drove to Vegas, photos from there will come soon.

Mickeys Halloween Party

On Friday during the week of our vacation we went to Mickey's Halloween Part at Disneyland. When we got there we were amazed at the amount of people that were there. Parking was a joke, and the line to get into the park was massive. The girls were so patient sitting in the stroller waiting to go in.

The Halloween fireworks were really neat. They even had Zero flying over the castle. The girls thought that was awesome. Jacks head was also in the show, but we could not see it very well from where we were standing.

My little Tinkerbell!

Emily meeting Aurora.

Emily and Belle.

Emily and Ariel. Ali was off riding Big Thunder Mountain with Matt while Emily and I saw the princesses. She was in seventh heaven.

By the end of our trip the Tea Cups were one of Emily's favorite rides as well.

Ali being silly while waiting to go on Casey Jr.

The girls loved the scenery while we were waiting to go into Pixie Hollow. I love this picture because it looks like Emily is doing the Vannah White hand gesture at the water.

The girls and Tinkerbell.

Silvermist

Pretty girls all dressed up for the party.

While we were waiting in line we had so much fun playing with the camera. The girls took lots of crazy photos of Nana and I, but they shall remain hidden. I am sure that we were driving everyone nuts with the flash.

The Halloween parade was pretty cute, they had a lot of the characters in costumes and some neat decorated pumpkins.

Crazy Emily on the tea cups again. Gotta love the expressions.

The castle was really neat for the party. It would change colors every couple minutes, and it would also shoot different spiders and creepy objects onto it too.

Finally ready to go after a long night of rides, lines, tons of fun and trick-or-treating at Disneyland.

Disney Day 4 - Wet and Wild Little Bugs

We got to meet Pocohontas. It was so cute, every time that Emily would meet a princess she would say that she loved her after she gave them a hug. Then for five more minutes she would keep saying I love Pocohontas, or whichever princess she just met.

Emily hangin' out watching dad on the rattlesnake rapids type ride.

We went to the Playhouse Disney show at California Adventure. The girls loved it. Emily got to be one of the helpers at the beginning of the show. It lasted about 2 minutes and then she started bawling. I think that all the eyes on her made her a bit nervous. Once she was relieved of her duties, she was great and had a blast.

One of the girls favorite characters, Pluto.

The girls got soaked playing in a splash pad at California Adventure. I was a little leary for them to get soaked, but it was so hot, they loved it. They were both crazy running around playing.

We got to hang out with my mom's friend Gina and her daughter Kayla today. The girls had a blast with her. Ali was really mad at me that I made her sit on a rock in the sun to dry off a little. Needless to say, they were still pretty soaked even an hour after playing in the water because of the humidity.

They loved playing with the Bugs Life 3D glasses, but they did not like the show. It was really funny how freaked out they were by it.

Buzz Lightyears Astro Orbiter ride was another favorite from the trip.
It was always our last ride to hit on the way out of the park.
