Terrific Tuesday!

I took the day off on Tuesday and we went and had a little fun. We started the day out with taking some pictures of the girls in Memory Grove. Some of them turned out pretty good, but it was still a chore trying to get Emily to smile. Then after that we went and saw Nana at work, and went up to Park City.

Ali and Dad ready to go down the Alpine Slide.

Emily going on the slide for her very first time. She did great. She would lay her head on my arm and then all the sudden put her hands above her head and say "Whee." When we asked her if she had fun at the end she said yes and jumped up and down, but when Matt asked her if she wanted to do it again she said "No."

Emily riding the chair lift to the top of the mountain.

Ali and Mom.

This is the huge dragonfly that we found in Memory Grove. The girls were rather freaked out by it. It was freakishly huge.

Emily pleased by her dandelion that she just picked.
Daddy and his girls.

This is the best one of Emily that we got all day.

For some reason I love this one of Ali.

Ali's First Hour of Kindergarten

Matt and Ali walking to her big day.

Today was Ali's first day, well hour of Kindergarten. She got to go today for a flag ceremony, The Pledge of Allegiance and to sing The Star Spangled Banner. Matt and I went with her, she had a blast. They met by the flag pole, went in to find their seats. Then they went outside on the playground - which she thinks is marvelous because it has spinning bucket seats. Then they went in the cafeteria and had cookies and then to end the hour they went into the library to watch a show.

Ali outside of her brand new school Foxboro Elementary. She picked out her own outfit last night and was so excited to wear her new light skechers.

Ali and her friend Lilly, they were in preschool together. Sarah is also in her class.

Lilly, Adria - who is not in Ali's class, but was there dropping her brothers off at school, and Ali.
Waiting for the big day to begin.

Ali in her circle of friends.

Ali sitting in her new desk. They each got a homework folder that they will bring home every night with their stuff in in. She was really upset that hers was green and not red.

She can not wait to go back and is really frustrated that she does not go back for real till next Monday. Then I am sure the nerves will begin and she will not want to go every day. She was such a trooper. Matt and I are so proud of her, she was so brave and calm the whole time.

Funny Kids!

Emily has not been feeling very good the last couple of days. She is finally starting to be back to her happy cheerful self.

This is her "Oh My" face. She always does it when she thinks something is funny.

Being Sweet.

Big Sister Ali.

Fun At The Lake!

Last week we went boating for my birthday. It was an absolutely perfect day. There were only a couple boats out on the lake and it was like glass all day.

The water was so cold since the weather had not been very warm for the week before we went. It literally felt like ice when I jumped in. Ali was a good sport, and spent a ton of time in the water. Her and Matt love to swim around to the front of the boat and scare my mom who is usually up there sleeping, or looking at the newspaper.

I was shocked that Emily got in the water with it being so cold and all. She had a blast out there with Matt and Ali.

She would splash the water and just laugh over and over.

After a couple of hours Ali got bored so we went to Ellie's beach. This is what she kept calling it since she played at the beach with Abby, Kate and Ellie. They had a blast making sand castles, swimming, burrying each other and skipping rocks. I think Ali may think that we will have to do this every time.

This was Matt's first time skiing this year. He has not been able to ski or wakeboard until now because of his hurt ankle. He did great, and got up on his 2nd try, which was a lot better than I. The rope kept slipping right out of my hands, Lets just say I need to work out my arms and hands before next years boating season rolls around, until then, I will just stick to riding the tube with Ali.

Ali was so brave this year, she went on the tube all by herself for the first time. She looked so tiny out there bopping around in it by herself.
