Mom - This one's for You!

Last night my mom, Matt and I went to the Kenny Chesney concert at the Rio Tinto stadium. It was a blast. As usual we had tons of great people watching and good tunes.

We had really great seats. I think they were probably the closest we have ever had at a concert.

Ali got a slip and slide for her birthday. The girls love it and Emily is a total maniac on it.

Emily slippin' down the slide.

Ali going for it.

Matt has decided that it is really fun to just throw the girls down the slip and slide. They think that it is hillarious, and no one has gotten hurt yet, so I guess it is going okay.

Ali's Birthday - Really late!

Our sweet little Birthday Girl opening her presents.

Ali with Emily right by her side, Emily has to do everything that her big sister does and be right by her. It is making things very interesting these days.

Little Ms. Jane.

Chowin' down on some grub, mostly watermelon. That is all the two girls would eat.

Ali with her most favorite present - Gloe the glow bear. She has seen commercials about this bear for about 6 months now, and she finally got him. He lights up and plays six different light shows. I just hope this will help her want to stay in her own bed.

Opening up Gloe.
I can't believe that my little baby Ali is already 5 and going off to Kindergarten. We have a lot of adjusting to do around our house as far as bed time goes, so wish us lots of luck in preparing for the big first day of school in a month. It is going to be interesting.

Ali's 1st Friend Birthday Party @ The Kangaroo Zoo

Ali had her first ever friend Birthday party yesterday at The Kangaroo Zoo! She had quite the turn out, she would even come up to me and say "Mom, my friends won't leave me alone." I just laughed and told her that it was her party and so they were there to play with her. This smoothed it over for a time or two, but in the end I think that she was a little overwhelmed.

Olivia, Ali, Sarah, Akazia and Landon. They all posed nicely for me to get a picture.
Kira, Kazia, Sarah, Ali, Adria and Landon. Landon, by the way is Ali's little boyfriend from Preschool who wanted to give her a pretty ring for her birthday and had his mom make a necklace for her.

Ali, Sarah and Andre in the glow in the dark golf course.

Bobby, Matt and Mike.
The few dad's that were there made themselves usefull and went into the mini golf course and played miniature golf. I guess they had to have a party of their own.

McKenzie, Ali, Sarah and Andre.
Thanks to Kenzie for being such a good sport and playing with all the little kids. It made Ali's day to have you there.
Emily bouncing away. The poor girl fell asleep on the way to the party, she would not wake up for anything. So Matt went in and layed her on a couch in the parents room and she slept for the first hour while Steve was in there working with her.

Ready for Cake! The kids were so thirsty after all their bouncing, they slurped up their juice and gobbled up their cake, then it was out for some more bouncing.

The Birthday Princess! She loved having the Birthday song sung to her.

What a Blow!

Hullabaloo! This is the best game ever. Thanks Becky, Steve, Jadon and Miah. This game keeps the kids entertained for so long. I Love It!

Ali opening up her Tinkerbell Jewel box from Landon.
This is her favorite thing ever. It is hillarious, she slept with it last night and did not let it get far from her today.

Our 4th of July Weekend

We had a great 4th of July. We got to hang out with good company and do lots of fun things. On Friday we all had the day off so we went to Gardner Village with Nans, Dad, Jaime and the girls. They loved walking around and seeing the ducks. Ali was about in tears that I did not bring any bread to feed to the ducks in the pond.

Picture time in the backyard.

Ms. Serious.

This little waterfall was at Gardner Village, so of course we had to stop for a picture.

Ali and Emily did a ton of sparklers. They were by far their favorite.
On Friday night we sat outside with the neighbors and lit fireworks, roasted marshmallows and just ran around waiting until we could watch the Eaglewood Fireworks. We had an awesome view and the best part about it was that we did not have to fight any traffic. The other best part of it was when Emily peed on my lap. Yeah, she was sitting on my lap all relaxed and all the sudden I felt really warm and then she started to say potty over and over again. That was quite the way to end the wonderful night.
Ali, Adria and Reagan watching the firework show.

Emily liked watching fireworks from the top of Matt's shoulders.

On Saturday Ali wanted to feed some ducks, so we took her and Emily to the Layton park to do just that. When the loaf of bread was gone we played at the park and then just relaxed under a nice big tree and had a picnic. It was so fun to just lay there and watch all the interesting people. We even saw a white poodle that had it's hair dyed Red, White and Blue. Despite the crowds, it was really fun and interesting to hear some of the interesting WT names that are out there. Ezekial was my favorite. The dad kept yelling Zeek over and over.

This is the ugliest duck, turkey, bird thing I have ever seen in my life. I have now idea what it is, but it was even more disgusting in person.

Cheesin' it up on the bridge by the ducks.

Ready, Set, Slide.

The girls could swing all day. Ali is really brave and loves underdogs, but Emily just likes to barely be pushed at all. She is my little scaredy cat on most everything.

Ali and Emily at Layton Park. It was really pretty there, and they have a huge park area.

Emily enjoying some fireworks.

This is Emily on the 4th of July at like 12:00 a.m. She was still wide awake, Ali was asleep in bed and she was just running around wild downstairs with us. The pajamas she is wearing are also Juliana's old pajamas. J wore them, Ali wore them, I even think Ellie wore them and now Emily is wearing them. I love it.

The Latest!

So, we are so proud of Ali. Last Saturday she tried out to be on the Tiny Tot Competition team for dance, but it turns out that they thought she was good enough to be on the next team up, so she is going to be on the Mini Team this year. She is going to be the youngest on the team. We will see how it goes, and if it is too much for her put her back in Tiny Tots.

My two little sweeties! If only Emily would smile for the camera.

There we go, we got a nice cheesy grin.

Strike a Pose!

I thought this picture was so cute. Emily is always laughing at everything that Ali says or does. She wants to be just like her big sister. Notice that Emily is even copying Ali's pursed lip face.

The 3 Musketeers! Ali, Emily and Isabel. And yes, those are panties that Emily is wearing. We are no longer having to wear diapers during the day, only at night. She is doing excellent.
