Emily had been begging us for months to get her ears pierced. The weekend of October 24th, we finally gave in and decided that if we got to Claires and she still wanted to do it then fine.
She insisted on doing it when we got there so we picked out the earrings and were about ready to do it when she decided that she had to go to the bathroom. While I as taking her I was trying to talk her out of it and telling her that it was going to hurt really bad. Lets just say that my tactics did not work on her. She was determined to have earrings like all of her friends.

Yeah, she is done, and she did not even cry or flinch.
Here is the big girl with her entourage. Cooper was with us for some extra support. I sometimes wonder if she was trying to be extra tough in front of his family.

She was a super tough girl! And Matt totally said you were going to try to talk her out of it, but she was so brave and they look so cute!!
Emily is so brave! It just makes me cringe. She is good!
