Gardener Village

While Danielle was here we all got to go to Gardener Village to see all the crazy witches, and enjoy some Halloween themed fun.

The girls were so excited to get their faces painted. That is pretty much the whole reason that we went there. They were all really cute about picking out what they wanted, and they all held perfectly still. Here is Ali getting her spiderweb done.

Ellie chose a darling little puppy. She was saying that she had been waiting her whole life to get her face painted. I thought that it was so fitting that she chose this puppy, she looked a lot like her best buddies Penny and Pancakes.

Emily meant business while getting her face done. She chose a butterfly.

Cute girls ready to go and show off their awesome faces.

The weather was absolutely gorgeous. We were all just so happy to be outside.

Emily loves Ryan, she was constantly wanting hugs and kisses from him.

Lots of crazy witches.

Waiting in line to ride the ponies. Thanks Nana Sue for the fun ride.

Saddled up and ready to ride.

Fun times with Ellie and Ryan

We loved having Danielle, Ellie and Ryan here visiting a couple of weeks ago. Danielle brought her kids over to play at our house a lot while they were here. The girls loved seeing and being able to play with her.

Sophia and Ryan were a hoot. They would lay on the floor next to each other and roll around and coo for one another.

One day while Ellie was over playing she got really sad that she missed her cousins Abby and Kate. So we called them up. This picture is of her talking to Kelly on the phone.

Ali loved playing beauty shop with Ellie. She had her hair in about 10 different little piggy tails. She was a good sport to sit still for so long.

I love this picture of Sophia and Ryan holding hands. They are both just too cute.
Ryan even got to try out the Bumbo seat. I think that he enjoyed it.

We had so much fun playing, we can't wait for the next time!

Vegas

On our way home from California we stopped in Vegas to energize and break up the drive home. When we got there the weather was so nice we decided to go out to the pool.

The girls, and Matt had a great time swimming and going on the water slide. Nans and I read magazines on the lounge chairs so that we did not have to go in and get all ready again. While we were sitting there we were entertained by this:

Ali came up with all sorts of different ways to go down the slide, and of course Emily was right behind her doing the same thing. Can you spot the person that does not belong in our family?

The whole gang headed back up to the slide.

Of course we had to hit the Grand Luxe for our favorite dinner and desert. The girls had fun entertaining themselves with the camera while they patiently waited for their food.

And the grand finale to top off our trip. The Strawberry Shortcake.

Our Last Day in Disneyland

We had a blast our last day in Disneyland. We started out the day by going to Ihop. While there we got to see the strangest thing. There was a family that had brought in their little Chihahua dog and it was just sitting on the floor by their booth. When the family's food came they made the dog up a nice plate of pancakes and sausage to eat while they were eating. We were all dying, and quite frankly it was disgusting that there was a dog in the restaraunt eating human food on the floor. It was quite a sight.

This picture of my mother and I cracks me up.

After all week we finally got to see Lighting and Mater. Emily thought that it was pretty cool to see them in person. Ali was not so impressed since she has seen them before.

Messing around in line for one of the Bugs Land rides.

Emily and Nana on Heimlichs Chew Chew train. The girls loved this ride. The watermelon smell was their favorite, and it was an added bonus if you got sprayed in the eye.

The Pixar Play parade was really fun. They loved seeing Crush. Turtle talk with Crush was one of their most favorite things to do. Ali got to ask Crush two questions while we were there. He called her Aloha Ali, and Amazing Ali.

We of course had to squeeze in one last tea cup ride. Ali was really bummed after not being able to make it on Big Thunder Mountain because a racoon was running around in the ride. The tea cups sure cheered her up though. Love the facial expressions.

This wraps up our five fun filled days in Disneyland. We left Anaheim on Sunday morning and drove to Vegas, photos from there will come soon.
