Boondocks

The girls all ready for our big night out at the new Boondocks.

Ali jumping for joy since we were finally bowling. She does this crazy dance every time she bowls. Also, just to note that she won me on both games. That is pretty sad.

Emily gets really excited as well.

Ali and Emily.

Another crazy dance.

Fun with Friends

Here is just an example of some of the craziness that goes on at our house during the day.
This top picture is Isabel, Emily, Lex and Ali all getting ready to slide down the stairs in the electric blue silky sleeping bag.
Part of the gang on a full day.

2nd Dance Recital

Ali had another dance recital at Heritage Place on the 19th. She was so excited that everyone got to come.

Here she is being crazy before it started.

ready to dance

Ali and Ellie before the big dance.

Emily, doing her favorite thing lately, Ali and Ellie.
Ali was so excited that Ellie got to be there.

Ali and her friend Kira.

Layton City Lights

We found a new favorite place to see lights this year. Layton City Park. They were amazing, I would say that they are way better than Thanksgiving Pointe and they are free.

I think the theme was animals. They had a light display of every different type of animal that you could think off from Unicorns, to Frogs.

The girls in front of the big pink whale.

The cool train.

I hope that they do this again next year.

Thursday Night

Thursday night we got to go to Sesame Street Live at the E-Center. Matt got tickets from a friend at work that could not go because he had to work, but Matt had off so we got to go. The girls loved it and had a blast. It was fun to see Emily get so excited at a show like that since our past experiences at Disney on ice have not been so good.
Our Family self photo before the big Elmo show. This is most likely the closest thing that we will get to a Christams picture.
Emily took a nap like a good girl so she would not be too tired for the show. This is how she fell asleep with one finger pointing on her chin.

Ali, Emily and Santa.

This is Emily during the show. She kept waving and yelling at the characters. It was so cute because she loved it. I was even surprised at how much Ali liked it too.

Matt and Emily excited for the show to start.

Emily and Ali comparing Ring Pops before the show started.

The whole gang dancing on Sesame Street.

Abby Cadaby.

Elmo's World! They even had Dorothy in her fish bow. Ali even said "Mom, it would be so cool if Mr. Noodle came out." and sure enough he did.

Elmo and Oscar the Grouch.

This part was my favorite part of the show. It was when Rosita was telling everyone that she wanted to teach people how to teach spanish.

Ali's School Picture

This is Ali's Kindergarten class picture. I am so glad at the way they turned out. I was really worried that she would do her cheesy dance grin if I wasn't there to tell her not to, but she did a wonderful job.

Tired!

Emily has been so sleepy lately and taking naps like clock work. On Saturday we ran to Target really fast for just a couple of things. I knew that she was tired, but I thought she would totally make it till we got back in the car. So as I was grabbing things I noticed her standing up leaning her head on her hand on the handle of the cart. Ali kept saying, "mom, Em is asleep." I thought there was no way that she would have fallen asleep like that, but sure enough she was. I left her standing up like that for awhile, but then I sat her down while we checked out. She rode out in the bumpy parking lot and everything, and was still out like a light. Then she slept in the car and for about 45 more minutes when we got home.

Thanksgiving

We had such a wonderfull Thanksgiving this year. Ali was really excited, I think that the fact that Peggy and Leo have it at the church really makes her year. She loved getting to see all the kids and play fun things with them. Here are some of the kids, minus Ava, Jadon and Miah. I don't know where they were, but they were definately having fun.

The kids thought that the lost and found was the coolest. They were calling it the dress up room. They would come out with all this different stuff on, and parade through the gym in different get-ups. Owen was cracking me up with a witch hat that he found.

Ali enjoying Thelmas pie. She thought it was delicious.

Emily ready to ride the scooter.

The kids loved playing on the stage. I think it made them feel important. In the dress up room they found a big long peice of rope that we taught them all how to jumprope. They did really good, and had to perform for everyone on the stage.

Jadon, Emily and Brooklyn all cruisin in the gym.
Thanks Peg and Leo for another great Thanksgiving.

Emily Being Silly

This was Emily being silly the other day. The girls are totally obsessed with Phineas and Ferb, so Emily likes to say their names.

My Poor Ali!

Tuesday Ali had to get two teeth pulled. She was so brave, and was excited for the tooth fairy to come again, since she had already come twice. I think that she is feeling rich from the 4 dollars that she has accumulated over the last week. When she got home her poor face was so swollen, she could not really use the whole left side of her face.

These pictures are so funny, I know it is rude of me, but we were all dancing around and she was laughing her head off and this is the best that she could smile.

Emiy had to get in on the picture taking action.

Showing off some moves.

Oh my poor babe, we are laughing with you, not at you.
