Park City

We had a grand time at the outlet malls with the whole gang. The park seems to be where we always end up. Thanks, Danielle, Peggy and Kelly for taking my girls to play with yours.

Emily playing on the slides.

Oh, the many faces that Ali has. This seems to be her favorite to pull these days.

Emily, boy is she amused or what?

Darling Ellie.

Pineview

Our first boating trip of the year was a trip of firsts. It was our first trip out for the season, It was the first time the Heieies and Danielle and Ellie have come with us to Pineview, and it was also the first time Ali rode the tube without Matt or I. We had a great time and are so happy that they got to come with us.

Abby and Ali
Ryan and Kate on the tube. We finally got her out there after awhile and I think that she loved it. We also know that Ryan loved it.

The Gateway

The other night was another adventurous night with the whole gang at The Gateway.
We went and ate at McGraths and it was a hideously long wait. It took us 2 hours to eat, so by the time we were done all the stores were closed. The girls entertained us nicely with their funny conversation and flower modeling.

Check out those lovely flowers.

Our sweet little babies are all grown up. Abby is now 7 and Ali and Kate are both 5.
Ellie has also already turned 3 and Emily 2. My how time flies.

The whole gang. The 5 Musketeers.

The girls horsing around at dinner.

They were amusing themselves rather well. Abby taught Ali how to make a paper fan, and I think that it was the highlight of her night.

Peggy with the beautiful Hula Hibiscus flowers.

Danielle and Ellie.

Everyone was a little tense watiting for so long. It felt like forever.

Precious Ellie.

Lagoon - It's What Fun Is!

Every year we look forward to our traditional Lagoon outing with the Heieie's and the Lee's. The day has already come and gone.
We had a great day at Lagoon-A-Beach and the rides on Tuesday. It was so fun for all the girls to get to play together. They loved it. It was awesome as usual.
Goofin' around on the train.

Flying The Skies in Chopper 5!

Sweet Ellie and Kate.

Jake and Jaime took Emily on the Merry Go Round. She loved it.

Ellie, Mark and Danielle with Leo in the background.

Oh, what a difference a year makes. Just last year Ellie and Emily cried the whole time during the boat ride. This year they loved it and were laughing.

Ready to go!

Thanks for playing with us guys. We love it.

Fun Party at Jake and Jaime's

Saturday night Jake and Jaime had us all over for a fabulous Bar-B-Que. The girls had a wonderful time running around playing with Abby, Kate and Ellie, Jake and Jaime's new dog Sully, and Angie of course, catching the fish in the pond and playing all together.
Ellie, Ali and Emily chowin' down.

Sparkler Fun. This was a little trecherous at first, but I think everyone eventually got the hang of it. If only they weren't such duds.

Checkining out the fish in the pond. Miraculously enough no one fell into the pond the entire night. We were all waiting for someone to go in.

This next video is of Ali passing the time while we were waiting for Dad inside Costco.

Our Boring 24th!

We were very unfestive this 24th of July. We were so excited for Kelly, Ryan and the girls to get here that we just sat around preparing Ali's nails for them. She was obsessed with them being pretty for her friends. So first we had to start out with a coat of purple, then a coat of glitter, then these interesting nail art sticker type things from her friend Fisher. Emily tried to participate in the nail event, but she got sick of it after the first coat.

Happy Emily waiting for Ali's nails to dry so that they can play.

Busted! Emily went in the dirty clothes and pulled out Ali's dance costume from the parade. The poor girl wants to go to dance so bad that she plays around the house in Ali's dance clothes and shoes.
Ali's beautiful nails and toes, all ready to see Abby, Kate and Ellie.

Emily and Ali singing the Happy Birthday song. This is Emily's favorite song to sing, and she really loves the end part that Nana taught her to sing. Have a listen!

Since Matt, Nans and I went to Kenny the night before we got the girls a light up Kenny Lei. When we gave it to them in the day they thought that it was a little lame, but once it started to get dark in the living room they loved them.

The most exciting part of the night was getting to go the The Texas Roadhouse to see Abby, Kate, Ryan and Kelly after their plane came in. The girls were so excited to play. After Abby and Kate were done eating all the girls ran around outside together - It made Ali and Emily's year to get to see them.

Handcart Days Parade

Ali's dance studio was in the Handcart Days Parade again this year. She was so excited to go, Thanks to Jake, Jaime, Kenzie, Peggy, Leo, Granny and the whole Jorgensen Family who helped Ali get to the parade and get home.

Little Ms. Poser cheesin' it up.

Wow, she looks really bendy here.

Emily is starting to copy Ali in the posing department. Here are my two cheesers.

Emily kicked back watchin the parade with everyone.

Ali on the float after the parade. Thanks Jake.

Jaime, Matt and Ali walking back from the float.

Ali, Lex and Isabel enjoying some more parade.

Thanks again for everyone that made Ali and Emily's night while Matt, Nans and I were at the concert. You guys are the best.
