New Pictures

Emily is cruising all over the place now, sometimes she will stop and put her butt in the air. Ali thinks it is the funniest thing ever.

The other night we were playing Elefun, it then turned into playing pirates with the nets for our pirate hats.

Ali is really enjoying the warm weather. She wants to practically live outside. She is getting really good on her bike and can ride it all the way around the block by herself. She is so proud of herself.

Discovery Gateway!

Last week we got to go to the Discovery childrens museum at the Gateway with Becca, Amy and all of their kids. It was so fun to see the new Sesame Street exhibit about the body. They had a market and restaurant with healthy foods, quizes on computers that asked about different parts of the body, a display that showed how you chew, digest and poop, (I think that was the most fascinating part for Ali.) She also loved the heart that they had, and when she would pull the handle and push it in it would make the sound of a beating heart.

Cruisin' in the Corvette!

Ali is in heaven now that she gets to take Emily for rides in her Corvette. Emily loves it also, she sits in the floor of it and just laughs and grins the whole way around the block. Luckily we have had no crashes yet.

Ali is enjoying wearing hats these days. This is one of her favorites.

Ali loves to make Emily laugh

Ali has so much fun with Emily trying to get her to laugh. She will say bizarre things to her and then Emily will just crack up. They love playing on Nans bed before it is time to go to sleep. Notice - Ali is rockin' the bandaids again.

Ali was really into this cowboy hat the other day. She would stick it on everyones heads. She thought it was the funniest when she would put in on Emily's head. The girls took a nap together the other day. The other day I was taking a picture of the girls and it is really sad because Ali gets so frustrated with Emily if she is not looking at me, so she will take her head and try and force her to look at the camera. Notice all of the band aids on Ali's fingers. She is having a total band adi fetish lately and if she bumps anything she needs one. It is starting to get embarrasing because when we go places people ask if she has a lot of boo-boo's, then we all get a laugh out of it when we tell them she just loves to wear band aids.

My Silly Girls

Ali has been making the cheesiest smiles when you ask her to smile.
Here is a sample-

Emily is loving being able to sit up and play with toys.

Emily is also loving the fact that she gets to eat solid foods now. She loves just about any flavor. I think that one of her favorites is banana mixed berry and apples with chicken.

The Aquarium

When Kelly and Danielle were here we all went to the aquarium in Sandy. Ali thought that it was pretty cool, her favorite thing there was the pool where she could pet sting rays.

Christmas Morning

Ali was really excited for Christmas this year, She finally is starting to understand the whole Santa thing. She even enjoyed sitting on his lap this year, which was a huge improvement from last year. Emily enjoyed ripping the paper and eating the christmas bows.

Christmas Eve

Emily fell asleep sitting up next to Matt on the bed holding the remote control.

On Christmas Eve we went to my Dad's to do the whole present thing. Ali had a hayday playing with her John Deere barn.

Ali's Gingerbread House

Ali and I made a gingerbread house a couple weeks before Christmas. She did really good. I was worried that she would want to eat all the candy, but she was really concerned about getting every last peice onto the house.

Emily is Rolling

Emily rolled all the way over for the first time last month. Now she is rolling all over the place and I will find her wedged under kitchen chairs or over by the fridge. Hopefully I have awhile before she starts crawling.

Ali's Christmas Dance

Today Ali's dance class performed their Christmas dance for all the parents. Ali was really excited that her Nans and Peggy got to come and watch her do her thing. As you can tell, she likes to be a total cheese head and needs some improvement in the listening department.

This video is of Ali and friends doing what she calls "blast off's." The poor girl really struggles with first position because of her pigeon toedness. She tries so hard, but her feet just pop apart naturally.

This time the teacher had them do the dance without her showing them what to do. It actually went a little bit better.

This video is of Ali doing skips and Shace's. Again, you can tell how well she likes to listen, I guess we could just say that she is really excited to be there.

Blustery Day!

This past weekend it snowed a lot. Ali was in heaven when she got to go outside and make snow angels. We also made a snowman, and she is so amazed that he is still standing. We also celebrated Matt's birthday so he could actually have a party since Christmas is so hectic. Ali picked out a Cars cake for him. The girl at the bakery thought that I was nuts picking up a car cake for my dad because Ali wanted it to say Happy Birthday Dad, instead of Matt.
